These recommended activities can be done daily with
your baby. Make sure to be sensitive to your baby’s
cues. If they aren’t enjoying the activity, or
if they are crying, it is important to attend to his
or her needs. Once baby is calm, you can try again later!

Instructions: First,
wrap boxes of different sizes with white paper. Provide
your little one with crayons or non-toxic, water soluble
markers, and let her color the boxes. Then, let your
toddler build big "buildings" with these fun-to-topple
blocks that she made!

Instructions:
Print out the finger puppets provided and wrap them
around your fingers. Use them to make up stories or

Buy a roll of brown wrapping paper and roll it across
the floor. This gives your child plenty of room to color.
Draw with your child and describe what you are drawing
as you do. Make up stories about your drawing.

Instructions:
Once baby is securely walking, let her hold a garden
hose and water the grass. Little ones love this water
play. This also lets your toddler walk around barefoot
outside for a while to experience different textures
beneath her feet.
Safety Tip: Make sure
it’s warm outside! Bring towels. Make sure there
is nothing sharp on the ground!
