Ordering/Account Information

Q. How do I place an order?
Placing an order on SoSmart.com is easy. When you find an item you would like to purchase, simply click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button, and the item will be added to your shopping cart. When you are ready to complete your order, review the items in your shopping cart by clicking on the "Shopping Cart" link on the top right side of each page. To change quantities simply correct the number in the "quantity" box next to the appropriate item and click "Update Cart." To delete an item, click the "delete" button on the right side of the item. To empty your entire shopping cart, click the "Clear" button. A running subtotal of your order can be found on the top right of each page, including a flat shipping fee. When you are ready to purchase the items in your shopping cart, you may either click "Checkout with PayPal," if you have a Paypal account (or would like to set one up), or you may click the other button to pay with any major credit card. Here you will be prompted to enter a billing address, shipping address, and credit card information. Echo Bridge Home Entertainment will ship to a PO Box address. Please see below for PO Box shipping specifications.

Q. What if an item I ordered is out-of-stock?
In the rare instance that an item you order is out-of-stock, Customer Care will contact you via e-mail, and your credit card or PayPal account will be credited for the full amount of the out-of-stock item(s). The rest of your order (all in-stock items) will be shipped to you as normal. If the out-of-stock item(s) become available in the future, you will be notified by e-mail. At this time you may purchase the item(s) if you so choose.

Q. How can I check the status of my order?
Orders are typically shipped within 1-2 business days via UPS Ground service or USPS Priority Mail (at our discretion) with an estimated delivery time of 3-7 days. UPS does not deliver to a PO Box – If a PO Box is entered as your shipping address, it will be shipped via USPS. You can contact us by e-mail if you want to further inquire about your order status.
Please Note: Receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. So Smart! and its distribution partner, Echo Bridge Home Entertainment, reserves the right—at any time after receipt of your order—to accept or decline your order for any reason.

Q. What is the method of payment on SoSmart.com?
SoSmart.com accepts credit card and PayPal transactions only. We accept Visa©, MasterCard©, Discover© and American Express©. SoSmart.com does not accept checks or money orders.

Q. How do I know how much my Shipping & Handling charges are?
We charge a flat shipping rate (U.S. & Canada Residents Only) based on the order total. Please see the chart below for total order amounts and the corresponding shipping rates.

Canadian Orders: Estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 business days. U.S. funds only. There is an additional $15.00 shipping charge for Canadian orders.

Q. How is a product delivered?
We ship via UPS Ground service or USPS Priority Mail. Since UPS does not deliver to a PO Box, PO Box orders are shipped via USPS. Most orders are shipped from our warehouse within 1-2 business days.

Q. Can I have an order shipped to another address?
You may choose to have an order shipped to a different address by filling out the "Shipping Address" field (which will be different than your billing address) during the check out process.

Sales Tax

Q. How is sales tax calculated?
We are required by law to charge sales tax in the following states:

Returns Policy

Q. What is SoSmart.com’s return policy?
You may return an item in its original condition for a refund or credit within 15 days of receiving it. Shipping charges can only be refunded if the return is due to our error or if you received a defective product. All returns must be accompanied by the packing slip/receipt. After a return has been received, it will take 1-2 weeks to process. If you receive a defective DVD, you may ship it back to our distribution partner, Echo Bridge Home Entertainment, for a replacement of the exact same item. Please enclose a brief note along with the defective merchandise stating the nature of the defect. Once we receive the defective item, we will promptly replace it, shipping it at no cost to you. Buyer is responsible for returning the defective item at his/her own cost.
Note: Please ship your returned items to us with a carrier that provides tracking information–we are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit.

Q. Will I be charged duties and taxes on my order?
Canadian customers are not charged any additional duties or taxes. However, there is an additional shipping charge of $15.00 for Canadian orders.

Q. How long will it take for me to receive my order?
The estimated delivery time for UPS Ground service or USPS Priority Mail to our U.S. customers is 3-7 business days. For Canadian orders, estimated delivery is 7-10 business days.
