Baby Talk
Did you know your baby is acquiring language skills even before they can talk? By listening to the people around them, your baby's brain is making important
language connections.
Try these tips to help baby begin to acquire language:
- Use dramatic facial expressions and hand gestures
- Create imaginary play situtions by talking for dolls or
plush animals
- Speak in varied pitches
- Read and sing to baby
- Name things or activities as you go through your day
